AWARENESS PROGRAM ON MENSTRUAL PAIN & ITS MANAGEMENT |
Efroze Chemical Industries organized a mass awareness program on menstrual pain and its management at Jinnah University, Karachi on 13th February 2010. The program was conducted by the Efroze Marketing team and was attended by a large number of students and the teachers of the institute.
The seminar was based on the various problems that the teenage and adolescent girls face during their menstrual cycle and the proper way to deal with them. Dr. Misbah Munir, gynecologist at Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, Karachi offered her expertise on the topic while educating the young girls about the myths and wrong perceptions related to periods and the right way to relieve menstrual pain and related symptoms. Later a Question/ Answer session was held in which the audience actively interacted with the speaker.
At the end of the program, the Efroze Marketing team distributed special gifts and certificates among the students for their participation. The Student Advisor, Jinnah University appreciated the efforts made by the guest speaker, Dr. Misbah Munir and Efroze in spreading mass awareness about this particular issue and presented them with souvenirs.
