Breakthrough in Paeds Segment by Efroze- Launch of Klabid ® Suspension |
Efroze took a tremendous start of the New Year by making yet another valuable addition to its Paediatric segment in the form of KLABID ® SUSPENSION (Clarithromycin 125mg/ 5ml), launched on 15th January 2010
KLABID® is available as a dry suspension which is reconstituted with boiled water before use. The formulation being in liquid dosage form is an excellent choice of drug for children suffering from lower as well as upper Respiratory tract infections and gives better efficacy as compared to other macrolides. A broad spectrum anti microbial activity and greater safety makes KLABID ® superior than other macrolides preparations.
As seen with other Clarithromycin liquid dosage forms, bitter taste and frequent dosing result in patient non-compliance and inconvenience for the parent in terms of administration to the child subsequently leading to treatment failure. However, KLABID ® is a sweet solution to all such problems since the product comes with a pleasant fruit punch flavor and requires only twice daily dosage.
As always, the Efroze Domestic Marketing team celebrated the event in a unique manner. A magnificent high tea was arranged at the Head office for the Head office and Plant staff. Later souvenirs for the field force and special gifts for their children were distributed by the Marketing & Sales Department.
