Corbis-H™ Launch by Efroze- Revival of the Heart Care Company |
14th December 2009 marked yet another milestone in the history of Efroze Chemical Industries (Pvt.) Ltd. when the company launched its new cardiac formulation Corbis-H Tablets, a valuable addition to the Corbis Tablets Range that revitalized Efroze’s cardiology segment.
Corbis-H is an FDA approved combination of Bisoprolol Fumarate, a cardio selective (ß1- selective) adrenoreceptor blocker and Hydrochlorothiazide, a thiazide diuretic for the 1st line treatment of hypertension and angina pectoris. Available in two strengths of 5mg and 10mg Tablets (Bisoprolol 5mg/ 10mg + HCT 6.25mg), Corbis-H 5 and Corbis-H 10 produce effective anti hypertensive action at comparatively lower doses of Bisoprolol Fumarate due to the additive effect of HCT. Requiring only once daily dosing, the product is highly recommended for chronic hypertension and cost effective therapy.
Like the formulation itself, the Launch ceremony of Corbis-H was also one of its kinds. The Efroze Marketing, Sales and New Product Development Department arranged a Launch Dinner in order to recognize and appreciate the Plant Operations, Marketing and Sales Team for their remarkable performances that made the Corbis Range a success in local as well as the domestic market.
